finally after what seems like at least 2 full seasons of new shows and at least one summer session of re-runs Tori Spelling has FINALLY given birth to her baby boy.

LOS ANGELES – Actress Tori Spelling has given birth to a baby boy with husband Actor Dean McDermott, Access Hollywood has learned.
Liam Aaron McDermott, who weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, was born March 13 at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
Liam is the first child for Tori. Dean has an 8-year-old son, Jack, and a 1-year-old daughter, Lola, from a previous marriage. In December, Tori and husband Dean McDermott revealed they were expecting a boy.
The couple stars in the reality series “Tori & Dean: Inn Love,” which premieres March 20 on Oxygen.
Tori and Dean were engaged in December 2005. They tied the knot in Fiji on May 7, 2006.
In December 2006, Tori and Dean told Access Hollywood the baby’s middle name would be Aaron — after Tori’s late father.
“We are going to name his middle name [Aaron’s] name,” Tori told Access. “I feel like I have been given such a gift having this little baby inside of me that it’s kind of a part of him, so I know that he will be up there wishing us well and celebrating with us and this little one inside me.”
Aaron Spelling died in June 2006 at the age of 83.
Just this week I did a quiz about my celebrity boob twin, and in a bizarre twist of fate my Boob Twin ANNA NICOLE SMITH passed away today.
Perhaps I should have hoped for Dolly Parton afterall.
RIP Anna Nicole, it was a hard ride for you.

I was talking last night to Christine on the phone about Ugly Betty, as America Ferrara won BEST ACTRESS in a Comedy Television Show at the Golden Globes. (Yeaaaah)
Anyways – we were discussing how even ugly in the US is ‘beautiful’ - I’ve put pictures below of the US Ugly Betty and the original “Betty La Fea” from the Spanish language novella of the same name.
America Ferrara’s character isn’t perhaps the snappiest dresser at “Mode Magazine” - but I wouldn’t go as far as to call her ugly. Awkward yes, but not down right uuuuuggggly. You know, hiting every branch of the ugly tree on the way down kind of ugly.
Our conversation turned to soap operas, mainly British soap Coronation Street (The longest running television show in the world) and our US example, The Young and the Restless.
Coronation Street is much loved because it is real people doing real things. People can relate to the human aspect of the show.
The Y&R is total fiction, the soft lighting, beautiful stupidly rich people, and fancy ornate crystal decanters in every room (and an ice bucket that is always full). Who lives like that?

As a viewer, what do I want to see? The comfort of things I know, understand and relate to or the fantasy and dream world of the unobtainable???

Alex Parks’ won an American Idol-esque show in Britian called “Fame Acadamy” in 2003.
I watched the show while I was living there, and I really enjoyed her style. A rougher, edgeier sounding Annie Lennox.
I would recommend downloading a track, and adding it to your IPod. Her rendition of “Mad World” is heart-breakingly raw and emotional.
She has just released her sophmore album to rave reviews in England.

With rag mags choosing to combine star couples into one name, or shortening the star’s name (thinking ‘Bennifer’, ‘Annivaghn’,'K-Fed’ ‘TomKat’ ‘Brangelina’ ‘J-Lo) I heard the best celebrity nick name today. . . . .
On the heels of the Brittney Spears/Kevin Federline seperation, this awesome nick name goes to Mr Federline, now being dubbed FED-EX!!!

I’m not sure if Federal Express (The real FedEx) is happy with this newly christened name, but I’m sure Brown (UPS) is enjoying it. . . .
I for one very happy that we are 14 and a half minutes into that guy’s 15 minutes. . . . .
