Minou napping.

Welcome to French at Linky Love who did their first “Cats on Tuesday” today

Marty in the Cooler Bag in our Kitchen, watching the birds out the screen door. One Coooool Kitty.

I’m going to a baby shower today. This is the quilt I made last night for the occasion. . . .The first time Dad-to-be is pretty cool guy, and he loves Corona beer, so the colours in the quilt are inspired from that! Plus it gave me an excuse to buy fabric with FLAMES on it!
Marty, Minou and Manny all approve. . . .
He and his girlfriend are expecting a baby boy in September. . . .

The inspiration :
Colin and I got several mirrors from my mom as an anniversary gift. We have a wall leading downstairs I plan to put about 10 mirrors of different sizes and shapes on.
I was using one of the mirrors in the bedroom last week, when I put foam rollers in my hair, and its been sitting against the wall in the bedroom since.
I cause my stunningly handsome cat, Marty, watching himself in the mirror today . . .
Sitting upright and proud, shoulders back, tail wooshing back and forth behind him. . . .
He looked like he was smiling as he titled his head from side to side to get a better look.
He has stationed himself in front of the mirror for his naps as well.
How vain! How drole!
I love my Marty Cat.
Found the picture below during a routine Goolge-ing fest.
It amuses me, mainly because its freaking damn obvious. Cats are simply not that simple.
Of course, if you happen to be kept by cats (like me) you do learn their moods. . . .

You Are: 0% Dog, 100% Cat |
![]() You are are almost exactly like a cat. You’re intelligent, independent, and set on getting your way. And there’s no way you’re going to fetch a paper for anyone! |

I have two sick babies in my house today.
Colin has congestion and a cold. Most likely brought on by going in and out of air conditioned office to non-climate controlled environments all week. We were supposed to have Geoff from Ottawa up this weekend for a bike ride and bbq. We phoned him early this morning to tell him not to make the drive, besides Colin feeling like crap, Manny crapped himself all over the house this morning.
The kitty squirts happened once before with Manny, after he ate some garbage. Besides scaring the shit out of him (pun intended), and feeling physically bad, he feels like he has been bad kitty for not using the litter. Now, granted, it would have made clean up much easier had he used the litter, but I wasn’t mad at him. I just want him to feel better.
Those that have met little Manny know what a purrrrrrr machine he is. He wasn’t making any noise, except for some panting.
My poor little baby.
I put him in the bathroom to clean up the mess, after I got everything sorted I went into the bathroom to clean him up. Then it happened. . . . . again. (AGAIN!!!!!!)
He started to fart, and little juicy streaks of liquid poop shot out of his butt. Every time he farted, it scared him and he ran around the bathroom, leaving little wet puddle bombs.
After another clean up, a bath, and some serious cuddling, Manny is pretty much back to himself. He is sitting with me now, damp and shivering, covered with a towel purrrrring.
What a crappy day. Literately

Scott came over last night for a little more Colin BBQ action. We made brochettes.
Scott adores Manny. His girlfriend’s cat, as discribed by Scott, is the devil incarnet.
We had Scott and another friend Vlad over on Sunday for a BBQ for Colin’s birthday. Vlad had arrived first, and Manny being the attention whore that he is tried everything to get Vlad to pay attention to him. No dice, little kitty! Vlad isn’t really a ‘cat person’.
Vlad and Colin went out to the shops to pick up a few last minute items, and while they were out Scott arrived.
A few minutes before Scott arrived I was telling Manny that he was coming over. And as Scott’s car rolled into the drive way little Manny was at the door like a speeding bullet doing little circles, purrs and whiirrrrrs in excitement.
He knew Scott would pay attention to him. Manny loves all the attention Scott gives him, and generally Manny follows him around while he visits.
Even last night Manny was ever so excited to see Scott. Its very cute actually.
Colin and I have made an important decision about Manny. If Colin and I die, or end up in a situation or move that means I can’t take my beloved cats, Manny is to go live with Scott.
Scott is even Manny’s friend on Facebook (Yes! My cats all have ‘CATBOOK’ profiles!)

Aren’t they a cute couple?
I’ve been taking alot of pictures of the moggies, here are a few more.

My beautiful girly cat, Minou, is a tad on the shy side. She is hard to photograph, and doesn’t enjoy it very much. My boys are photo whores-so those that have been reading my blog for a while will have seen dozens of photos of Marty and Manny.
Here are a whole bunch of pictures of the Diva herself.

This is yellow bear.

He is an old terry-cloth hand puppet I bought from Value Village for $0.10.
We fill it with Cat Nip for the moggies every once in a while, and then watch ‘em go.

Today I left work early. I’ve been feeling crappy for a few days now. I needed some rest and sleep.
Before I crashed, I filled good ol’ Yellow Bear. . .
While I was getting cozy in my bed, I could hear the moggies going nuts in the other room. . . . .
