I put this post up because I was getting alot of people searching “Emo Kitty” that were ending up on my blog - I blog alot about my cats. . . . .
“Emo” is a trend for a generation younger than me, and younger than pretty much EVERY single person in my blog’s target audience.
Emo is not ‘clearly’ defined as other similar trends, like Goth, were.
So problem no, but certainly I find the movement a tad on the humourous side . . .but I guess thats an age thing.

Emo is not in the least bit funny. It’s a painful life. Some people choose to be emo. Others just feel It’s their calling. Eather way, most are very depressed. They cry a lot and most of them slit their wrists. I have many friends that are emo. But just because there emo doesn’t mean they can’t live a normal life. I love the pics though. I’m in love w/ emo stuff. I even have a picture of emo spongebob!
Sure its funny.
Just like blonde jokes are funny, or ‘yo mama’ jokes, Goth jokes, jew jokes, black jokes, stupid people jokes, white trash jokes, handicapped person jokes, animal jokes, politician jokes, kid jokes, elderly jokes. . . . .
People need to learn to see the humour in things. . . .every darn person in the whole wide world can be funny for something. . . .
I post a randomly found ‘emo’ picture every thursday, and I’ve been called insenstive, a jerk, and many things I just shouldn’t say on my “PG 13″ blog. . . . .
All in all, Emo IS funny. Like it or not.
Most of them don’t slit they wrists, or spend all day crying. . .that is hooey.
